About Doug Burke

I've played a lot of roles over the years: baker, water polo player, entrepreneur, family man. But for some reason, photography is a thing that has woven its way in and out of my life.

A few years ago, we built an art studio in our backyard, sheltered by old oak trees and overlooking the Carmel River. The River and Oak Studio was born and it's where I can often be found, working with my black and white images.
